Michael Bosscher was born and raised in Melbourne and upon completion of his secondary schooling in the United Kingdom, he arrived in Brisbane to undertake his university degree. Throughout the course of his degree Michael worked full time for the Crown Solicitor’s Office as well as completing his degree on a full time basis at the University of Queensland.
Shortly after becoming admitted in 1994 Michael commenced his career in criminal law and is now one of the foremost practitioners in the field.
Michael is one of the driving forces of the firm and combined with his legal work, he is regularly sought after to contribute to industry events, continuing legal education courses and tertiary institutions.
At the conclusion of his secondary school studies Tim attended Griffith University where he completed dual degrees of Laws and Arts. Following the completion of his Articles of Clerkship in a general practice Firm, Tim was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Since 2000 Tim has practiced exclusively as a criminal defence lawyer representing hundreds of accused people across the length and breadth of the State as well as interstate.
The protection of individual rights, the right to due process and the presumption of innocence are all at the forefront of Tim’s drive as a criminal defence lawyer.
Alison Campbell is the Legal Practitioner Director of Bosscher Lawyers and has worked in the criminal law field since 1994.
Throughout her career she has specialised as a Criminal Law, Spousal, Children’s and Victims Advocate.
Alison holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Queensland together with a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology.
Alex began working as Law Clerk for Michael Bosscher in 2008 whilst studying his Business and Law degrees at the Queensland University of Technology,
He continued working in the Criminal Law after his graduation and has practiced solely in Criminal Law defence since being admitted as a Legal Practitioner in 2009. He has proved to be devoted to vigorously defending the rights of his clients and leaves no stone unturned in their defence.
Shortly after his admission, Alex was entrusted to manage the busy Sunshine Coast office, where he stayed for approximately 18 months before re-locating back to Brisbane in July 2011.
Nathan is the Principal and Director of Bosscher Lawyers Toowoomba and Ipswich. He is committed to ensuring that the people of Toowoomba and South West Queensland receive proper representation and have their rights protected.
Prior to moving to Toowoomba in 2006 Nathan worked as a criminal defence lawyer in the Brisbane CBD. He gained considerable experience in all jurisdictions from the Magistrates Courts to the High Court of Australia, working over several years on a daily basis with some of the nation’s top criminal lawyers.
Nathan was educated at the University of Queensland, receiving degrees in Commerce and Law with Honours, before he joined Ryan & Bosscher Lawyers (then Queensland’s top specialist criminal defence firm) in 2004. He was admitted on the 20th of March 2006 and in April that year took up a posting in the Toowoomba office of the firm. In late 2007 Nathan was appointed the Managing Solicitor for Toowoomba and in the second half of 2009 was appointed a Senior Associate. On the 1st of July 2010 Nathan became the principal of the Toowoomba office, now Bosscher Lawyers Toowoomba, and subsequently became a Director of Bosscher Lawyers Ipswich in 2012.
Yassar has been working in the area of Criminal Law since completion of his undergraduate studies in 2008. Following completion of his PLT, he was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in November, 2008.
Yassar completed his Bachelor of Laws in 2008 and went on to undertake a Masters of Laws while working ultimately completing the degree, both from Queensland University of Technology, in 2010. Yassar has also completed a Bachelor of Environmental Sciences from Griffith University.
Yassar is very passionate about Criminal Law and the motivating force behind that passion is to ensure that justice is available for all. For this reason, Yassar takes pride at being involved in the local community to propagate this message. Yassar has spoken at high schools and has also served as the Secretary for the Ipswich District Law Association and continues to play an active role.
Claire is a solicitor in the Toowoomba office of Bosscher Lawyers. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of New England, and was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland in September 2011.
In 1999 Claire commenced work in the area of family law, and worked in this field throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory until her move to Toowoomba in 2006.
Since 2006 Claire has worked almost exclusively in the area of criminal law, completing her degree part time while working full time at a local Toowoomba law firm, and subsequently at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Anna Smith operates Bosscher Lawyers in Maroochydore. She was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2000.
She has a genuine love of the law. She has gained a wealth of criminal law experience in both prosecution and defence, appearing in all jurisdictions in both New South Wales and Queensland. She has also appeared in numerous domestic violence hearings for the aggrieved and the respondent, peace and good behaviour hearings and a number of civil hearings in the Magistrates Court. She also has experience in family dispute resolutions and appearing in the Federal Circuit Court in family law proceedings.
In 1999 she began her career in criminal law and advocacy as a clerk at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, New South Wales whilst completing her law degree.
Naadira is a solicitor in the Brisbane office of Bosscher Lawyers. She holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
Naadira came to Criminal Advocacy after working as an undergraduate legal consultant for one of the big four accounting firms in Brisbane. Immediately before joining Bosscher Lawyers she worked for a small Criminal Defence firm in Brisbane.
Born in South Africa, but raised in Australia, Naadira has strong ties to the South African, Zimbabwean, and Muslim communities in Brisbane. She acts as a point of contact for individuals and their families subject to counter-terrorism investigations, and she has been involved in ongoing matters before the court in relation to same.
Samantha is a solicitor in the Brisbane office of Bosscher Lawyers. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Criminology) from Bond University. Samantha was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland in March 2014 after completion of the Legal Practical Training (PLT) Diploma.
Samantha appears almost daily before the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts on a range of matters from traffic offences to serious drug trafficking and sexual assault matters.
Samantha is very passionate about Criminal Law and in particular making the journey through the Criminal Justice system as stress-free and simple to understand for her clients and their family as possible.
