Grace Townsend

Grace Townsend is a solicitor in the Brisbane office of Bosscher Lawyers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Collage of Law. Grace joined Bosscher Lawyers as a clerk in 2016 and took on the role of solicitor when she was admitted in May 2017.

Grace appears daily before Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts on a range of matters and has experience in contested bail applications, sentences and trials.

Grace is aware of the anxiety many clients in the criminal justice system experience and she takes pride in her ability to minimise this stress through effective communication.

Samantha Breach

Samantha Breach

Samantha Breach is a solicitor in the Brisbane office of Bosscher Lawyers. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Criminology) from Bond University. Samantha was admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland in March 2014 after completion of the Legal Practical Training (PLT) Diploma.

Samantha appears almost daily before the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts on a range of matters from traffic offences to serious drug trafficking and sexual assault matters.

Samantha is very passionate about Criminal Law and in particular making the journey through the Criminal Justice system as stress-free and simple to understand for her clients and their family as possible. Samantha takes the time to answer client’s questions and ensures that her client’s are up-to date with the progress of their matters.

Samantha has an exceptional work ethic and does not shy away from any aspect of a matter. She often goes the extra step to ensure her clients are in the best position they can be by gathering relevant material for a Court to consider.

Alex Jones

Alex Jones

Alex Jones began working as Law Clerk for Michael Bosscher in 2008 whilst studying his Business and Law degrees at the Queensland University of Technology,

He continued working in the Criminal Law after his graduation and has practiced solely in Criminal Law defence since being admitted as a Legal Practitioner in 2009. He has proved to be devoted to vigorously defending the rights of his clients and leaves no stone unturned in their defence.

Shortly after his admission, Alex was entrusted to manage the busy Sunshine Coast office, where he stayed for approximately 18 months before re-locating back to Brisbane in July 2011.

Although Alex Jones is one of the younger practitioners’ in the firm, he is experienced in a large array of matters including multiple murders, drug importation and also Court of Appeal matters through to simple traffic matters. He appears in court on a daily basis and has acted as solicitor advocate in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Court in Queensland.

As well as appearing in the Criminal jurisdiction, Alex has also represented players in AFLQ tribunal hearings and also Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) hearings.

Alison Campbell

Alison Campbell

Alison Campbell is the Legal Practitioner Director of Bosscher Lawyers and has worked in the criminal law field since 1994.

Throughout her career she has specialised as a Criminal Law, Spousal, Children’s and Victims Advocate.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Queensland together with a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology.

Alison’s career has exposed her to a massive range of legal work and she is one of the State’s leading practitioners.

Alison has a passion for justice and a deep understanding of social issues that cause and perpetuate violence. Alison has a deep interest and is focused on the protection of the rights of women caught within the criminal justice system.

Alison has appeared as Solicitor Advocate in all stages of court proceedings and brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise.


Michael Bosscher

Michael Bosscher was born and raised in Melbourne and upon completion of his secondary schooling in the United Kingdom, he arrived in Brisbane to undertake his university degree. Throughout the course of his degree, Michael worked full time for the Crown Solicitor’s Office as well as completing his degree on a full time basis at the University of Queensland.

Shortly after becoming admitted in 1994 Michael commenced his career in criminal law and is now one of the foremost practitioners in the field.

Michael is one of the driving forces of the firm and combined with his legal work, he is regularly sought after to contribute to industry events, continuing legal education courses and tertiary institutions.

Michael appears as an advocate before any Court or Tribunal in the State of Queensland.

He is also admitted to practice in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory. Michael’s practice generally consists of larger scale matters handled by the firm as well as “white collar crime”.

Michael is a passionate criminal law advocate whose skills and experience ensure that every possible advantage available to a client is maximised.
