Expertise
Grace Townsend joined our team in 2016 and has practised exclusively in criminal defence since being admitted as a legal practitioner in 2017. Grace holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Although she is a younger practitioner, Grace was trained by the best and is an aggressive and fearless advocate. Grace has represented clients charged with the most minor to the most serious offences and she appears daily before Magistrates, District and Supreme courts and has experience in trials, sentences, Supreme Court bail applications and appeals. Grace also has experience in domestic violence and RSPCA matters.
Grace is at home in the courtroom and her skill as an advocate compliments her passion for social justice and delivering results for her clients. Grace appreciates that she may be the only person supporting her clients through one of the most difficult experiences of their lives. She takes this incredibly seriously and invests the time to ensure her clients understand the process. Grace’s clients often remark that they leave her office feeling calm, confident and equipped with a game plan.
