Yassar has been working in the area of Criminal Law since completion of his undergraduate studies in 2008. Following completion of his PLT, he was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in November, 2008.
Yassar completed his Bachelor of Laws in 2008 and went on to undertake a Masters of Laws while working ultimately completing the degree, both from Queensland University of Technology, in 2010. Yassar has also completed a Bachelor of Environmental Sciences from Griffith University.
Yassar is very passionate about Criminal Law and the motivating force behind that passion is to ensure that justice is available for all. For this reason, Yassar takes pride at being involved in the local community to propagate this message. Yassar has spoken at high schools and has also served as the Secretary for the Ipswich District Law Association and continues to play an active role.

Yassar has extensive experience having appeared in all jurisdictions including the Supreme, District and Magistrates as well as interstate jurisdictions.
Yassar, in his spare time, enjoys playing a variety of sports including golf, soccer and cricket. He loves to travel and takes every opportunity he has to visit new places. Yassar is also very passionate about serving the local community and fellow colleagues and has contributed his personal time towards various charities including Breast Cancer Foundation and the Abused Childs Trust.
Yassar is of Indian decent and is fluent in both Hindi and Urdu. Yassar provides a personalized service to his clients to assist with their criminal law needs.
